Joining JLE
The Junior League of Eugene makes every effort to be flexible and responsive to all women interested in joining. We welcome all women 21 years of age and older regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation or national origin who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to voluntarism. We offer open enrollment for membership anytime throughout the year.

BECOMING A NEW MEMBER
The following list is a collection of events and meetings that Junior League of Eugene finds beneficial for all members to complete when joining. These will help new members learn about the history of Junior Leagues worldwide and here in our community, and how our league operates.
We meet members where they are in their current lives, so no real requirements are needed other than members must be at least 21 years of age at the time of application.

Pay annual dues — currently at $150

Attend a General Membership meeting (appx. 2 hours in length, held every month)

Attend a committee or board meeting, preferably a committee of interest (appx. 1 hour in length)

Volunteer and/or attend a Community Enrichment event sponsored by JLE or an approved affiliate (appx. 1-3 hours in length)

Volunteer at a JLE fundraising event or activity (appx. 1-3 hours in length)

Support our fundraising efforts and community projects by volunteering and fundraising

To become a new member, a woman must:

Be at least 21 years of age at the time of application. There is no upper age limit.

Possess an interest in voluntarism, a commitment to community service and an interest in developing her potential for voluntary community participation.
